Neon Red Negative Space Nails combines a neon coral red polish with freehand triangles outlined in black and a solid colour outlined accent nail.
Items used for Neon Red Negative Space Nails:
- Illamasqua Nail Base Coat
- Illamasqua Geist
- Models Own Cocktail Hour
- K-Sa-Ra Water Based Black Nail Art Paint
- Striping Brush
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
Illamasqua Geist from the Paranormal collection was used for the base of nails. This is a clear UV Topcoat polish that glows under UV light. The polish has a blue/pink tinge to it and gives a lovely pink glow to the nails. It dries to a high shine leaving a gel like look to the nails.
Models Own Cocktail Hour is from the Models Own Polish For Tans Collection for Spring/Summer 2015. It is a really bright neon red/coral creme polish. It applies well with good coverage in one coat. This was applied with a nail art brush to fill in the triangle shapes. Two coats were applied to middle finger accent nail giving an opaque, smooth and shiny finish. This is definitely the brightest polish in the collection.
Ka-Sa-Ra Water Based Black Nail Art Paint was applied with a striping brush to outline the nails and to paint the lines forming the triangle shapes. It is highly opaque and dries to a matte finish. It can be easily removed with water before a Top Coat is added.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat does not smudge nail art and dries fast to a high shine finish.
