OPI Alpine Snow is a crisp white creme varnish. Like most white polishes application was rather streaky with first coat. Evens out and fully opaque with two coats. This was applied as a base colour to three nails before applying Sharpie Permanent Markers. Dries to a high shine finish.
Models Own Malibu Pink is from the 2015 Polish For Tans Collection. It is a lovely bright neon Barbie pink creme polish. Two coats were applied to index finger. Dries fast to a shiny finish.
Models Own Turquoise Sea is a bright turquoise blue polish from Models Own Polish For Tans Collection for Spring/Summer2015. Applies well with two coats giving a fully opaque coverage with shiny finish. This was applied to ring finger.
Orly Shine is a sparkly silver foil effect polish. A highly opaque polish that was applied with a dotting tool to index and ring fingers above the cuticle to give a half moon effect.
Sharpie Permanent Markers in Pink and Turquoise were used for the water colour effect. These were mixed with Iso-Propyl Alcohol 99.9% Pure in a small ceramic dish. This was then painted onto nails with Fraulein Nail Art Brush and blended by adding more Iso-Propyl. (100% Acetone would work as well.) The Sharpie Permanent Markers could also be applied directly onto nails when base colour is completely dry and then blended with acetone and brush. When applied over a base colour Sharpie Permanent Marker can easily be removed from nails using nail polish remover.
INM Northern Lights Holographic Top Coat Silver was applied over Sharpie watercolour designs to give a subtle sparkle to nails.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat was applied to all nails to give a smooth, high shine finish.
