Tye Dye Effect Gradient Nails is an easy to do gradient using a sponge. Combines crisp white and neon peach/coral with black outlined flower on accent nail.
Items used for Tye Dye Effect Gradient Nails:
- Butter London Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat
- Models Own Snow White
- Models Own Beach Bag
- Orly Instant Artist Jet Black
- China Glaze Point Me To The Party
- Dotting Tool
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
- OPI Matte Top Coat
Models Own Snow White is a crisp white creme varnish. Like most white polishes application was rather streaky with first coat. Evens out and fully opaque with two coats. Two coats were applied to nails as a base and completely dry before applying gradient with a sponge.
Models Own Beach Bag is a lovely neon pastel peach/coral creme polish from the Polish For Tans Collection. It applies well with two sponged coats giving a fully opaque, even coverage. Dries to a semi matte finish.
Orly Instant Artist Jet Black was used for the flower design on accent nail.
China Glaze Point Me To The Party is a clear based neon glitter topper with neon green, pink, blue, orange and magenta hexagonal glitters in varying sizes. A small amount of this was used for the centre of the accent nail flower.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat was applied to smooth nail surface and to ensure that gradient and nail art would not be smudged when applying OPI Matte Top Coat.
OPI Matte Top Coat removes glossy shine from nails, drying fast to a matte finish.
